Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions we get asked most often.

Do I need a visa to visit Sri Lanka?
Most nationalities require an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter Sri Lanka, which can be applied for online before departure. The ETA typically costs USD 20–35 and allows a 30-day stay. We recommend applying at least 2 weeks before travel. Our team is happy to guide you through the process.
What is the best time to visit Sri Lanka?
Sri Lanka has two main dry seasons: December to March for the South & West coast and the Cultural Triangle; May to September for the East coast (Trincomalee, Arugam Bay). The Hill Country is pleasant year-round. We can tailor your itinerary based on your travel dates.
Are your tour packages all-inclusive?
Our packages are fully customisable. Most include accommodation, private transportation, professional English-speaking guides, and selected meals. Optional add-ons such as flights, international travel insurance, entrance fees, whale watching, and Ayurveda treatments can be added at your request.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations made 30+ days before departure receive a full refund minus a processing fee. Cancellations 15–29 days before receive a 75% refund. Cancellations 7–14 days before receive a 50% refund. Within 7 days, cancellations are non-refundable, but we will do our best to reschedule. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
Is Sri Lanka safe for solo and female travellers?
Sri Lanka is generally considered very safe for tourists, including solo and female travellers. The island is welcoming and hospitable. Our guides are available 24/7 and we pre-screen all accommodation for safety and comfort. Many of our clients travel solo and report feeling completely safe throughout their journey.
